Order-to-Delivery

Connect orders to delivery with operational clarity.

Codithic connects existing or predefined orders with delivery planning, assignment, preparation, execution, confirmation, return collection, reconciliation, and unload.

Order-to-delivery operations connecting orders, warehouse preparation, delivery, and retailer receipt.

Order-to-Delivery

One connected flow from order to operational closeout.

The workflow connects existing or predefined orders with delivery execution and post-delivery operational activities.

Approved order-to-delivery sequence: existing or predefined order, delivery planning, delivery assignment, load request, delivery, confirmation, status, return collection, reconciliation, and unload.

  1. Order

Delivery begins from an existing or predefined order.

    1. 01Existing / Predefined Order
  2. Delivery execution

Planning, assignment, load request, delivery, confirmation, and status stay on one execution path.

    1. 02Delivery Planning
    2. 03Delivery Assignment
    3. 04Load Request
    4. 05Delivery
    5. 06Confirmation
    6. 07Status
  3. Operational closeout

Return collection, reconciliation, and unload can follow delivery. A return is not required every time.

    1. 08Return Collection
    2. 09Reconciliation
    3. 10Unload

Move from planned orders to completed delivery.

  1. 01

    Start with Existing Orders

Delivery begins from existing or predefined orders. Orders provide the operational context for planning and delivery.

  2. 02

    Prepare and Execute

Delivery planning and assignment establish the execution path. Load Request prepares the required stock before delivery.

  3. 03

    Close the Operational Loop

Confirmation and status record delivery completion. Return collection, reconciliation, and unload can close the operational loop when they apply.

Planning & Assignment

Plan the delivery before execution.

Delivery planning operates on existing or predefined orders. Assignment then establishes the execution path, and a load request prepares the required stock before delivery.

Existing / Predefined Order → Delivery Planning → Delivery Assignment → Load Request

  1. Existing / Predefined Order
  2. Delivery Planning
  3. Delivery Assignment
  4. Load Request

Delivery Execution

Execute assigned deliveries with clear status.

The assigned delivery is executed against the planned order, with load preparation, confirmation, and status remaining part of the same operational flow.

Assigned Delivery → Load Request → Delivery → Confirmation → Status

  1. Assigned Delivery
  2. Load Request
  3. Delivery
  4. Confirmation
  5. Status

Configurable confirmation

Delivery confirmation can be configured to occur through the delivery process itself or through email/SMS code verification where messaging is configured for the deployment.

  • Delivery itself confirms the delivery
  • or
  • Email/SMS code verification confirms the delivery

Post-Delivery Operations

Keep returns and reconciliation connected.

Return collection, operational reconciliation, and unload can stay connected after delivery. A return is not required on every delivery.

  • Return Collection

Capture returned products when a return is part of the delivery.

  • Reconciliation

Reconcile operational activity after delivery. This is not a financial close.

  • Unload

Complete the field operational cycle after reconciliation.

Reconciliation in this workflow is operational closeout. It is not financial or accounting reconciliation.

Central Management + Field Execution

DMS manages the operation. SFA executes in the field.

DMS provides central management and operational records. SFA provides mobile-first field execution for supported workflows.

Codithic DMS manages existing or predefined orders, delivery planning, assignment, load request, operational status, return collection, reconciliation, and unload. Codithic SFA supports assigned delivery, field execution, delivery confirmation, delivery status, and return collection.
