View Orders
View orders with their operational details and current status through the DMS order-management layer.
Codithic DMS
Manage orders from creation to delivery.
Codithic DMS helps you view, create, update and deliver orders through a central operational workflow connected to field operations, inventory, delivery, invoices and payments.
Key capabilities
Handle orders through a structured DMS workflow with connected visibility across the operation.
View orders with their operational details and current status through the DMS order-management layer.
Create orders in DMS, or capture them through Van Sales and Presales. A Presales order then participates in the DMS order layer.
Review order progress and update order details where the operational process supports it. Not every detail stays editable at every stage.
Connect existing or predefined orders with delivery planning and execution when fulfillment is required.
Manage invoice information as part of the DMS order and collection workflow, including outstanding invoices and related operational history.
How it works
A simple order-management process to keep distribution operations connected from creation through fulfillment.
Create → Manage → Deliver. Order Management is a Codithic DMS capability. Field order capture and delivery execution can happen through Codithic SFA. Not every order follows the same path.
Create new orders in the system.
View and update orders as required.
Review and complete delivery-related processing.
Not every order follows the same execution path. A Van Sales order may be created and delivered when van stock is available. An existing or predefined order may be delivered later through delivery planning and execution. A Presales order is captured in the field and then participates in the DMS order layer.
Field and DMS
Order Management is a core Codithic DMS capability. Codithic SFA is the mobile-first field execution layer that can create, capture, view, or act on orders.
Visit an assigned customer, create an order, and check current van stock. Deliver when that stock is available, or deliver an existing order. Van Sales can also create a Presales order, view outstanding invoices, collect payment, and review order or payment history. Delivery is not always possible at the time of the visit.
Visit an assigned customer, take an order, track the visit, and follow up. The captured Presales order then participates in the DMS order layer, including planning and delivery where that path applies.
DMS is the central operational layer for viewing, managing, updating, and processing orders, and for connecting those orders with inventory, delivery, invoices, collection, and reconciliation. SFA does not replace this layer.
Order information can relate to inventory, delivery, collection, invoice and payment history, and operational reconciliation. These are connected operational views. They are not an automatic lifecycle, and Codithic DMS is not a payment gateway, banking integration, or accounting system.
Order → Inventory → Delivery Planning → Delivery → Confirmation
Van Sales: Order → Van Stock Available → Deliver
Inventory shows what is available for execution. A Van Sales user can check current van stock before delivering.
Delivery planning works with existing or predefined orders, then assignment, load request, execution, confirmation, and status.
Outstanding payments can be reviewed in the field. Collection follows the approved SFA workflow, and cashier settlement is performed in DMS.
Invoice management is a Codithic DMS capability within the order and collection workflow. Users can review order history, payment history, and outstanding invoices in that operational context.
Reconciliation and unload support operational closeout after delivery and related field activity.
Business value
Manage orders in one central DMS layer instead of treating order handling as a standalone field tool.
Keep viewing, creating, updating and delivering orders in a connected operational workflow.
See order status and related inventory, delivery, invoice and payment information in one operational view.
Connect field order capture with DMS, and connect existing orders with delivery execution where fulfillment is required.
